When they don't, it can be demoralizing and frustrating. When the procedurally-generated stars align, Shattered Pixel Dungeon feels like one of the smartest and most satisfying dungeon-crawlers you can find. It's gotten to the point where I know by floor five if I have what I need to actually go much deeper. You can always start again, but I have noticed that my only deep runs in the game have all been made possible by crucial item drops that happened early in the run. If you don't come across the right gear at the right time, or you walk into a room that triggers a swarm of enemies to notice you, there's basically nothing you can do to recover. My only problem with the game is that with all these possibilities, some runs can feel doomed from the start. On top of that, dungeon floors also have interesting randomized elements like booby-trapped loot rooms, mini-bosses, and little side-quests you can come across that also give you a sense of adventure outside of basic survival and the boss fights that are pre-built into every run. It has hundreds of items to come across, over 50 enemies, and all kinds of modifying equipment that make sure that each game you play is unique. I really apprecite Shattered Pixel Dungeon's sense of variety. All of your work on upgrading gear, identifying items, and reaching the goal just vanishes, so hopefully you've learned a trick or two about how to survive a little better to go further on the next run. You just start again from first floor with the option to choose a new class if you've unlocked them. Whenever you die in Shattered Pixel Dungeon, nothing fancy with progression happens. All of the items you pick up early on you have to identify using scrolls or just test without knowing what they'll do first, and it's surprisingly easy to get surrounded by enemies or simply find yourself in a fight without having enough health or healing to get you through it. Although the overall pace of the game allows you to think strategically and try to make the best possible moves, this game is really tough. Things only move when you move, which allows for careful planning, distracted play, or a little bit of both.Įvery game of Shattered Pixel Dungeon presents a newly procedurally-generated dungeon for you to explore-and likely die-in. Speaking of progress, all of this action is managed in a turn-based format, so you don't have to worry about a hunger meter draining over time or enemies coming and finding you while you manage your inventory. Usually, food isn't super hard to come by, so long as you are making good progress downward in the dungeon. Your hero gets hungry, so you have to find or make food for them so that they don't starve to death. You can't just grind away killing enemies, though, as Shattered Pixel Dungeon is also a survival game. At the start, you have some modest class-specific gear and are relatively fragile, but as you kill enemies to level up and find more gear and items, you can turn into a formidable fighting force. You choose a class to play as (warrior, mage, rogue, or huntress) and then you are dumped into a 26 floor dungeon that you have to fight your way through. Runs of Shattered Pixel Dungeon begin with little fanfare. Shattered Pixel Dungeon takes things back to a more conventional place-one that forces you to rely on your wits, some light rpg elements, and quite a bit of luck as you move a little pixelated hero around a grid-based dungeon, one step at a time. There's a trend to take this classic mold and apply other game mechanics to them, like cards, dice, or even slots. Dungeon-crawling games have gotten kind of complicated and abstract, lately. The program can utilise spatially referenced data in a number of standard map file formats. AutoCAD Map is fully compatible with existing Auto-CAD-based drawings and maps, in part, because its data creation foundation is AutoCAD Release 14. It enhances the operation of AutoCAD in the GIS marketplace by providing standard GIS functionality with topology creation, analysis and thematic mapping, fully integrating raster and vector file formats, and providing links to attribute information through object data or external databases. ArcToolbox is the ArcInfo application that is used in performing operations such as data conversion, overlay processing, buffer creation and map transformation.ĪutoCAD Map software is based upon AutoCAD Release 14. ArcCatalog is the ArcInfo application for locating, browsing and managing spatial data. ArcMap application which enables the user to do CAD-like editing, assist with advanced mapping capabilities and support better visualisation for superior data interpretation and analysis. It enables to integrate vector (x,y locations) map data, raster images such as photographs, scanned documents or satellite images, CAD drawings, sound and video data, as well as a wealth of tabular DBMS data into a single, integrated environment. It is used to automate, manipulate, analyse, and display geographic data and incorporates hundreds of sophisticated, yet easy-to-use tools for map automation, data conversion, database management, map overlay and spatial analysis, interactive display and query, graphic editing, and address geocoding. ArcView Image Analysis allows to leverage a broad range of readily available image data types-including popular satellite imagery, aerial photography, orthoimagery, and other remotely sensed data-supplementing a wide variety of GIS applications.ĪrcInfo differs from ArcView in that ArcInfo is designed to develop GIS data while Arcview is designed to interact with GIS data which has already been created. Digital imagery can also be used for data visualisation, data extraction/creation and analysis. ArcView Image Analysis enables ArcView GIS users to go beyond using images as a backdrop for vector maps. The ArcView 3D Analyst extension enables users to create, analyse and display surface data. Extensions like ArcView Spatial Analyst allows to create, query, map and analyse cell-based raster data and to perform integrated vector-raster analysis. ArcView GIS software’s extensible architecture adds on to the capabilities. It links the traditional analysis tools like spreadsheets, databases and business graphics with maps for a completely integrated analysis system. The following sections provide an outline of some of the major software which have revolutionised the mapping community.ĪrcView GIS is a desktop mapping and GIS software used as a tool for the management, display, query and analysis of spatial information. Behind this remarkable growth is the relentless efforts of the industry to bring out with good quality software which helps in providing the best quality outputs. The combined efforts resulted in building of a strong foundation of GIS, which today boasts itself as one of the fastest growing field in geo-science. This remarkable progress would not have been possible had it not been for the proper inputs and supports the seedling received from the industry and the scientific community. However, it took almost three decades for the seed to mature into a healthy concept with the ever-growing branches entering into almost all visible fields and touching every aspect of our life. It was in the early 1960s that the seeds for the foundations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) were laid down. If you are writing to the remote share and get an error “ Cannot write to the specified path. Another way is to set the physical path to point to your Azure file share and set credentials using your newly created local user, that maps to the storage account. One way is to export the files locally and then you copy to the Azure file share. In the UI, open the Shared Configuration option under Management, select ‘Export Configuration’ (far right in Actions pane). The first step of setting up shared configuration is to export the configuration file and keys. If you are not using Shared Configuration, then you can omit this section, otherwise read on. Similarly, with Azure Files, we can use the same shared configuration files on the Azure share. Some more information on shared configuration here: IIS has a ‘shared centralized global configuration’ feature, whereby multiple servers in a Web Farm can share the same configuration settings by hosting the files on an UNC share. net localgroup IIS_IUSRS youraccnt123 /add Shared Configuration You can also accomplish this via command line e.g. Add user to IIS_IUSRS groupĪdd the newly created local user to the local IIS_IUSRS group.įrom Computer Management UI: 'Local Users and Groups' -> select Groups -> IIS_IUSRS This means your Azure storage account name should also be a max of 20 chars. Technically this limit can be changed in Active Directory but for the purpose of integrating IIS with Azure Files we should aim to keep it at 20. By default, Windows has a restriction of 20 characters for the user name. You can also script the creation of the local user e.g. In this case I have ‘User cannot change password’ and ‘Password never expires’ checked, but this is entirely your decision. the Azure VM hosting IIS that will be accessing the Azure file share) we will need to create a local user that maps to the storage account user.įrom Computer Management UI: 'Local Users and Groups' -> select Users -> right click -> 'New User' net use * \\ .net\webshare1 /u: youraccnt123 someVeryLongStorageAccountKeyxxxxyyyyyzzzz1111222233334444555566667777888899990000AAABB= IIS Setup Creating local userĪzure Files does not currently support Windows Authentication, which means on the Web Server (e.g. Whereby the share would be accessed from the command line as follows, net use : \\.\ /u: e.g. This walkthrough assumes that you already have an Azure storage account and that the Azure Files share is already setup ( )įor the purpose of this walkthrough we have already setup a share called ‘webshare1’ and a storage account as follows Account Name This blog entry walks you through the step by step of how to configure IIS to work with Azure Files. One advantage of using Azure File Storage in this way is if you have a ‘farm’ of web servers accessing content in a centralized location (previously, you would have to copy the content across all the VMs and keep them sync). With Azure File Storage, the web content can now be stored independently of the web server. Until now, for these scenarios, the web content always had to be hosted locally on the VM. We also recognize that customers may choose to host their web servers on IaaS VMs. In general, Web Apps is the recommended and best way to create and deploy Web Applications in Azure. One common question is "can I host my IIS web content in the cloud using Azure Files”? The answer is yes you can! :) Our friends in Azure have just announced the GA of Azure File Storage, which allows fully managed file shares in the cloud. Also, there's no ranking order here they're just all good games still worth playing today. For example, a few all-time favorites missing from this list are Super Smash Bros., GoldenEye: 007, and Pokémon Stadium. As such, you could probably trade out about three or four of these titles with equally good games depending on your taste of genre. Of those 296 games released in the US, I've pulled out 10 that could easily stand as the best games on the platform. Publishers released only 388 titles for the N64 across all regions, of which America received 296. Developers jumped ship to the Sony PlayStation in droves during this generation, making the N64 game library feel historically slim compared to other Nintendo consoles. Nintendo's insistence on cartridges over CD-ROMs reduced piracy as intended, but it also reduced third-party involvement. Unlike competing consoles from Sony and Sega, the N64 used ROM cartridges as game media. While the Nintendo 64 never sold nearly as many consoles as the Sony PlayStation, it still played host to many innovative and high-quality games. It included an innovative triple-handled controller with an analog thumbstick and four controller ports out of the box, which made it a great system for multiplayer experiences. Positive is an increasing trend of the current asset turnover over the analyzed period. The total asset turnover ratio compares the sales of a company to its asset base. This indicator shows how much money was generated by a dollar of used current assets. The main share of consumer and commercial loans must belong to the most reliable and important clients.Ĭurrent asset turnover reflects how many times do current asset turn over during the fiscal year. Within the framework of this strategy, all clients should be split into groups, depending on the history of the collaboration with them, their financial condition and their importance for the company. For avoiding the risk of the same problem arising again in future the complex strategy of commercial credit provision for clients should be developed. To increase the current asset turnover some measures have to be taken to return the company's funds. One of the causes that influenced this decrease was the accounts receivable growth. In other words, in year 1 firm generated $5,10 of sales for every current assets dollar, in year 2 it started generating 5,03 times as much sales as its current assets. This indicates a slight decline in firm’s ability of generating sales through its current assets, such as cash, inventory, accounts receivable, etc. Year 2 witnessed a slight decrease of firm’s current asset turnover ratio from 5,10 to 5,03 comparing to year 1. Finally, for yearly reports the average value of the current assets amount from the beginning and the end of the year should be taken for calculations.Ĭurrent Asset Turnover (Year 1) = 3351 ÷ 656 = 5,10Ĭurrent Asset Turnover (Year 2) = 3854 ÷ 766 = 5,03 For monthly data the values should be taken from the end of every month. If the internal company report is available for access, then the average total assets amount should be calculated considering the values for current assets at the end of every working day. Same as with total asset turnover, there are few ways of the average current assets calculation.
The game features a two-player option a fun shared screen experience that often does more harm than good, as you can easily get stuck in a monster’s grasp if your partner isn’t paying attention. You only need to rescue one to advance to the next level, but you will be stuck until they are all either rescued or killed. If all of your neighbors from a given level perish, the game is over. If a monster gets to them before you do, they die, letting out a ghastly cry and showing an image of an angel ascending. The bad news is that they seem to be completely oblivious to the danger around them, and they are easy targets for creatures roaming the streets. The good news is that they stay put, and you can use the L button to open a radar that will help you find them. You can play as either Zeke or Julie, kids on a mission to save their neighborhoods from zombies, werewolves, chainsaw-wielding fiends, and a wide variety of other undead creatures of the night.Īs you roam through the various levels, including neighborhoods, malls, pyramids, crypts, castles, vaults, and other exotic locales, you have to rescue people who are randomly wandering about in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Zombies Ate my Neighbors is a top-down arcade-style game. They will be available on all of the important systems: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox 1, and Windows. The two games are being rereleased together as part of the Lucasfilm classic games. You can grab both games in one package in the Nintendo Switch Online Store for only fifteen bucks! That was a small price to pay to re-live some of my favorite childhood moments. You can only imagine how ecstatic I was when I read the news that one of my favorite childhood games was being ported to the Switch! I immediately texted my siblings, and my sister was just as excited as I was! In fact, she decided to buy Nintendo Switch just to get this game!Īs a bonus, the sequel to the game, Ghoul Patrol, was included in the port. Zombies Ate My Neighbors Ported to the Switch It was developed by Lucas Films and not originally intended to be a sequel. The sequel, Ghoul Patrol, was released a year later in 1994. It was available for both the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and the Sega Genesis System. Zombies at my Neighbors was originally released in 1993 by Konami. Original Release of Zombies Ate My Neighbors I even downloaded an emulator recently to try playing it on my PC! Unfortunately, the emulator gameplay was a bit wonky, and you’re not supposed to stream emulated games, so I gave up. Over the years, I considered finding a way to play Zombies again. Unfortunately, my SNES stopped working a long time ago, and I don’t even remember what happened to all the games I had for it. You can absolutely blame this game for all the children who tried going the wrong way on public escalators! We adored the shopping mall level, where we had to run up the “down” escalator to save a baby, so much that we tried to recreate it every time we saw an escalator in real life, much to our parents’ consternation. I used to play Zombies Ate My Neighbors with my brother and sister when I was in grade school. So when Nintendo ported one of my all-time favorite Super Nintendo Games, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, to the Switch, I had to grab it. % Information related to 'AS16215 - AS16283' as-block: AS16215 - AS16283 descr: RIPE NCC ASN block remarks: These AS Numbers are assigned to network operators in the RIPE NCC service region. % To receive output for a database update, use the "-B" flag. % See % Note: this output has been filtered. % % The RIPE Database is subject to Terms and Conditions. % This is the RIPE Database query service. |
